Danika at the library
  • A certified elementary teacher
  • Four years in the classroom
  • Three of them teaching first grade, plus a year of Kindergarten
  • She comes to you — your home or your library
Is this the right kind of help?

This is for you if…

  • Your child is in K–2. A little older or younger is fine — ask.
  • The trouble is reading, phonics, spelling or writing. Not math.
  • Your child is homeschooled or in school. Either works.
  • You want a straight answer about where they are, without a test.

This isn't a fit if…

  • You're outside the service area. She drives to you, so the map is a real limit.
  • You're looking for a disability diagnosis. Danika is not a reading disability specialist.

Three things a regular tutor won't do
Danika's tutoring materials boxed and loaded in the back of her vehicle.
  • She travels to you. Your house or your local library—no loading a cranky six-year-old into a car after a long day.
  • Every lesson is customized to fit your child's needs.
  • No school-style testing. Get post-session feedback that is clear and practical.
Sixty minutes that don't feel like a lesson

To your kid it looks like an hour of learning that kept them engaged. Danika arrives with the lesson already built; you don't need to hover or prep anything. When she's done, she tells you what she saw.

  • One student hated the puppets. The puppets were gone by the next week.

What others are saying

“As a homeschool mom, there's not enough hours in a day to teach and be a full-time mom to my other littles. Having Danika come in gave me the first hour i've had in weeks to clean the house while the others nap. That was invaluable.”

Meet Danika
Danika, the tutor.

Danika is a certified elementary teacher with four years in the classroom — three of them teaching first grade, one Kindergarten. While she enjoyed her time as a teacher, she discovered her greatest skill was working with students in a smaller group setting. Her love for creating customized lessons is not a compromise, is a passion. Weaving her creativity and expertise, Danika's dream is to deliver that “aha” moment to every student that grows into a love for reading.

Booking a call to meet with Danika costs you nothing, and buys you the chance to see if she's the tutor you and your kids have been dreaming to meet.
